Rescue Critters® CPR Monitor

In 2022, we worked with a group of senior students at the Jacobs School of Engineering, UCSD to develop a CPR Monitor prototype. Our CPR Monitor is easy to use and gives clear feedback on whether you’re doing chest compressions on any of our Jerry mannikins correctly. This CPR monitor is calibrated  for practicing canine CPR on our medium-sized dog mannikins (Jerry, CCJ, AA Jerry and CeePeR) with an average rate of 100-120 compressions per minute, providing feedback on the depth and rate of your compressions.

The CPR Monitor comes with its own protective box, complete instructions and a one year warranty.

This monitor is intended to be used only for the purpose of measuring compression rate and depth during animal CPR simulation on Rescue Critters® brand mannikins. Actual CPR on live animals will vary and will require the instruction and guidance of a well-qualified, trained professional.

“I have used them every semester for three years. They are extremely easy to turn on and explain to the students. I am able to walk around while the students are practicing CPR and with a quick glance, can provide feedback about their rate and depth. I was very happy when our program was able to order additional bands so that more students could practice compressions at the same time. I would highly recommend them to any teaching program, or even clinic that wanted to use it at a training tool.”  ~Danielle Lusebrink, BS, RVT, Santa Rosa Junior College
